FAMILY TRIBUTE

We will remember Marian for many things: his natural engineering abilities, appreciation for music, and talented green thumb. Throughout his life he took on many roles: son, worker, husband, father, uncle etc…but the one he embraced to the fullest was grandfather.

For his granddaughters, there wasn’t a birthday party, recital, or life milestone Dziadziu didn’t attend. He passed down ‘important’ life skills that only a grandfather can, like how to plant a garden, an appetite for kielbasa, and how to get a 1977 Lincoln town car running again.  As the girls grew he transitioned from caregiver, to mentor, and finally beaming with pride as he watched them graduate from high school and college, to accomplish things he had worked his whole life for.

We will remember Marian for many things, and the memories we have with Dziadizu are some that will be cherished the most.
