Obituary of David Randall Adkins

David R. Adkins. Age 65 of Lincoln Park.    

Beloved husband of the late Brenda Adkins. Loving father of Ryan (Joy) Adkins and Jenny (Mike) Ward. Dearest son of Cora Adkins. Dear grandfather of Maxwell Adkins, Nathan Ward and Kyle Ward. Brother of Tim Adkins and John Adkins.

FAMILY TRIBUTE

David "Dave" Randall Adkins, 65, was born December 12th, 1952 and died July 27th, 2018. He was a 1971 graduate of Taylor Kennedy High School and was a resident of Taylor at the time of his death. He spent 26 years working at Woodbridge Foam Corporation in Romulus before retiring in 2015. He married the late Brenda Adkins on March 31, 1979, and had two children, Ryan (Joy) Adkins and Jenny (Mike) Ward. He was "Papa Dave" to his grandsons Maxwell Adkins, Nathan Ward and Kyle Ward. He leaves behind his mother, Cora Adkins, and two brothers, Tim and John Adkins. Dave was fond of assembling puzzles, writing fiction, playing guitar, and filming skits. He was also a devoted fan of the Beatles, the Tigers and the Three Stooges. Dave will be remembered for the fun, talent and corny sense of humor he shared with his entire family. He goes on to join his wife and his father, John Adkins.
