Obituary of Sharon Lee Pugh

November 25, 1942 - September 19, 2018

Sharon Lee Pugh, age 75, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 after fighting a long battle with Carcinoid tumors and Follicular Lymphoma.  Sharon died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving husband and children.

Sharon leaves her devoted husband Everett Pugh and her four girls, Debra Pugh, Deanna Pugh, Jill Pugh and wife Danica Jones, Jamie Trombley and husband John Trombley.  Sharon leaves behind her three loving grandchildren, Emma Trombley, Alec Trombley and Betty Jones.  She also leaves her brother Earl Hatten Jr. and Sister, Terry Camp along with her nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father and mother, Earl and Vernetta Hatten as well as her two brothers, Donald Hatten and Raymond Hatten.

Sharon was born on November 25, 1942, Thanksgiving Day.  Truly a blessing to her parents, Sharon helped raise and care for her four siblings.  Sharon was often ill as a child and had three bouts with Rheumatic Fever, but each time managed to come out stronger as a person and have stronger faith.  At the age of fifteen she would meet and fall in love with her husband of 55 years, Everett Pugh.

After Sharon met Everett and helped raise her siblings, it was clear to her what she was put on this earth to do, and that was to become a mother.  She would then spend the rest of her life devoted to her husband and the care of her children and grandchildren.  She was not only known for the love she gave her own children, but also every other child that came into her life.  Every friend of her daughters was thought of as her own child and was welcome with open arms and treated as family.

Long known for her positive outlook on life, her Christian beliefs and sense of humor, Sharon was a friend to all.  She enjoyed many hobbies.  Sharon enjoyed bowling with her friends, doing crafts and scrapbooking.  Everyone she met became a friend.  Sharon always found time to be with a loved one, whether it be having a good time with her Red Hat group or having dinner with friends.  She will always be remembered for her laugh and bright smile.
