Amilcare Lorenzo Porcari, Age 90 of Wyandotte
Beloved husband of Alfonsa Porcari. Loving father of Anna (Dev) Mata, Angelo (Jennifer) Porcari and Anthony (Juliet) Porcari. Dearest grandfather of Lucas, Loren, Michael, Giulian, Gianna, Roman, Siena, Anthony, Chase and Jameson. Preceded in death by siblings, Giovanni, Augusta Cappelletti, Maria Coluzzi and Lorenzo.
FAMILY TRIBUTE
Amilcare Porcari, loving husband, proud father, and adoring nonno, was born in Norma, Italy on October 14, 1927. He left Italy as a teen in search of prosperity in the United States of America, returning to Norma only to marry his beloved Alfonsa Viani. Amilcare and Alfonsa settled in Wyandotte, Michigan and started their family. Amilcare worked as a millwright for 42 years at Great Lakes Steel and Alfonsa cared for their three children, Anna Marie, Angelo John, and Anthony Rock. Together they maintained a stable and loving household and nurtured their children with all they had to offer. Amilcare was a selfless man, especially when it came to his family. His greatest source of pride and love was for his wife, his children, and their families. Amilcare had a sparkle in his eye for each of his ten grandchildren, who affectionately called him nonno. His thoughtfulness and love for his family was unmistakable and always welcomed. He will always be in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. We miss you, we love you, we hope you rest in peace, and we will see you again in heaven.
