Verlin Drexel Meyers, Age 90 of Trenton.
Beloved husband of the late Frances Meyers. Loving father of Keith (Linda) Meyers and Susan (Richard) Bean. Dearest grandfather of Danielle (Brian) Keane and Kelly (Aaron) Harrison. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

FAMILY TRIBUTE
Verlin Drexel Meyers, longtime resident of Trenton, passed away October 2nd, 2018 at the age of 90. Verlin was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Byrley and Roxanne Meyers. He married Frances Stanley and they were married for 67 years. She preceded him in death in 2015. He served with the United States Air Force before they started their family. Verlin and Frances had two children: Susan (Richard) of Lexington, Kentucky and Keith (Linda) of Trenton, Michigan. They spent most of their married life in Trenton where Verlin worked for Monsanto Chemical Company for 39 years. They enjoyed camping and spending time with family, and were often seen taking long walks through their neighborhood. Everyone that knew them understood what a special relationship they had. Verlin was very involved with his church and was a delegate to the Southern Baptist Convention where he served in many different leadership roles. Verlin was a proud and loving Pappaw to two granddaughters, Danielle (Brian) Keane and Kelly (Aaron) Harrison and to six great grandchildren, Luke, Ben, Olivia, Shannon, Katie and Kara. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all that love him. Visitation will be at Molnar Funeral Home in Brownstown, Michigan on October 5th from 1:30 p.m. till 9 p.m. with a service at 6 p.m. Interment will be held on Saturday at Michigan Memorial Cemetery in Flat Rock, Michigan.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
