Melissa N. Williams.  Age 37.  Formerly of Lincoln Park.     

Loving mother of Joshua (Olivia) Howard, Brianna Stockard, Chelci Stockard and Ethan Buhl.  Dearest daughter of James (Angela) Williams and Cherry Kern.  Dear sister of Michael (Jaclyn) Williams, Elizabeth Williams and Daniel Williams.  Step sister of Brandon Carter.  Beloved granddaughter of Clarence Kern.

FAMILY TRIBUTE

Melissa Nichole Williams was born on October 26, 1981. She graduated from Lincoln Park High School in the class of 1999. After high school, she went on to graduate from Regency Beauty School in 2013. She had four loving kids – Josh, Brianna, Chelci and Ethan. She was raised by her father, James and step-mom, Angela Williams. She had one amazing sister, Elizabeth, and three protective brothers – Michael, Brandon and Daniel who she loved very much. 

Family was her thing. Her favorite colors were pink and silver. She loved planting flowers like her grandmother Anita. She loved crafting, but she loved painting most of all. Melissa was a people person, she loved her family and friends more than she loved herself. She could always make you laugh or smile just by walking into any room, just like her father James. She loved volunteering and helping people out, even strangers. She loved meeting new people. 

We think she should be remembered for being a good mother, sister, daughter and also a friend. She should be remembered by being the life of the party and always having your back. 

We can all say though, Melissa’s wings were ready but our hearts were not.
