Obituary of Elsie Bely
June 8th, 1920 – December 18th, 2018
Elsie Bely. Age 98 of Woodhaven.
Beloved wife of the late Julius M. Bely, they were married February 22, 1941. Loving mother to Sharon M. Garst and James J. Bely. Dearest grandmother of Jason (Branda) Garst, Shayna (Ryan) Nissley and Diane Martin. Dear great grandmother to Brynn Garst, Caleb & Cayla Nissley and Amanda & Ashley Martin.
Elsie enjoyed reading and taking walks. In her final years at Applewood Nursing Center, she was a favorite of the nurses and aides, looked forward to ice cream on Thursdays, jelly donuts on Fridays, going outside and filled her days with audio books. One of her most favorite things was visits with her grand and great grandchildren. Each visit was filled with joy and lots of laughter. She was sweet and funny. Her favorite Psalm was Psalm 23. We have peace knowing that because of her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior that we will see her again in Heaven.
We love you so much and will miss you dearly.
