Family Tribute
Betty Vega
Devoted Wife and Mother.
She loved learning and she loved teaching. Although she started her teaching career later in life, she found it very rewarding. She was always looking forward to the next trip with her husband, Al, and Son, Ron and Daughter-in law Theresa. She had a real zest for adventure.
But, she also preferred guaranteed successes. She found great comfort in familiarity. She usually chose tried and true restaurants and places. She loved music and old musicals. Her greatest love beyond her husband and children was politics. She said it was her entertainment. She watched news shows endlessly. Always well informed and current in what was going on in the city, state and nation.
She had wonderful childhood memories of her yearly trips to Indiana to visit Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. But, she also, truly loved her home!
