First and foremost I send my love and the deepest condolences to Jordan, Bill's parents, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Glassco, Lee, Heather, Clay, Bill's friends and Wyatt and Jed. But because Bill exuberated such joy and happiness to everyone he knew I wanted to share my memories of Bill here even though my heart is breaking. I will preface my memories with this... every memory I have of Bill are wonderful. Bill 's beautiful authentic smile.. and it wasn't just when he was filled with joy and happiness either...his smile possessed his body... 24/7! His love, adoration and devotion to Jordan... I am not exaggerating when I say that he worshiped the ground she walked on and I am without doubt that he still does. Bill's banjo playing... the first time Jordan introduced me to Bill he appeared out of nowhere and started playing the banjo like there was no tomorrow and then he took my husband, Tim, to show him his room filled with guitars. I fell in love with Bill that moment and knew he was going to bring fun and joy to Jordan's life. Bill made the best Mai-Tais this side of the Atlantic (you might as well include the other side of the Atlantic as well because his Mai-Tais were like no other because they were not only made with the best Rum they were also made with love. Bill loved his nieces and nephews with a fierceness and gentleness and it breaks my heart that they lost their fun-loving, gentle uncle and a lifetime of Bill's love and guidance... they could have learned so much from him. Finally I will remember his love for his friends. You knew he loved you because he showed it every time we would get together with a handshake or a hug or an elephant he happened to pick up at a vintage resale shop... he was so thoughtful that way. We all had so many plans for the future with Bill and I will mourn the loss of this charming man for the rest of my life. I am calmed with the confidence that I will him see him again some day some way on the other side. Until then, play that banjo for universe to hear and don't wait until 5:00pm to serve the Mai-Tais. Sending love and condolences to everyone that knew Bill. with love my friend, XO
