Obituary of Mike Mitchell
September 23, 1965 - April 12, 2019
Michael “Mike” Mitchell. Age 53 of Rockwood.
Mike passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 12th. He was the beloved husband of Holly Mitchell, loving father of Donald (Audrey) Blanzy, Cydney Mitchell, and Lyndsey Mitchell, and dearest brother of Michele Mitchell and Allen Mitchell. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Joann Mitchell.
Mike was an accomplished carpenter who took great pride in his work. He valued doing things the right way and always went above and beyond for anyone who needed him. He enjoyed golfing, making people laugh, and spending time with his family.
Mike could light up a room with a story and bring a smile to any face with his kindness. He loved being a husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He proudly spoke about his children, nieces, and nephews to anyone he could and treasured those times when the family would all be together.
For those who knew him, he will be truly missed but he would not want any tears shed for him. Mike would want stories told, loud laughter, smiles, and love. He will be forever in our hearts and our memories.
