Elwin Luther “E.L.” Freeland. Age 96 of Naples FL, formerly of Michigan.
E.L. was born on August 15, 1922 in Buchanan, TN and left Naples, FL for his eternal home on April 20, 2019. E.L. and Mildred, his loving wife of 74 years, moved from Michigan to Naples, FL upon his retirement from full-time preaching for Churches of Christ in several different locations in Michigan as well as Tennessee and Indiana. E.L. also served as a preaching minister at Gateway Church of Christ for many years. A man of many talents, he was a comedian, recorded singer and a jeweler by profession.
