Family Tribute

Becky was born in December 1969 in Trenton, Michigan.  She grew up in Lincoln Park, Michigan with her two sisters, Sandy and Brandie.  She was the middle child.  She was very close to her two cousins Stacey and Leanne who were around the same age as her.  During her childhood, Becky enjoyed playing baseball and bowling.  She also liked to help neighbors out by cutting their grass and babysitting.  She attended Lincoln Park High School where she played flute in the marching band.  This is also the place where she met some wonderful friends that she still cared about and kept in contact with to this day.  She also worked at McDonald's during her high school years.  After graduation, she went on to work at Creditor Resources, Inc. as a receptionist with her sisters Sandy and Brandie.  She advanced her way up to Customer Service Representative where she worked for 16 years.  Unfortunately, Becky suffered from diabetes which contributed to her leg amputation, leading to her early retirement.

She had her one and only daughter Samantha when she was 20.  She met her husband Terry when she was 24 and they have been married for 25 years and reside in Brownstown, Michigan.  She loved camping with Terry and Samantha which is weird because she was absolutely terrified of spiders.  Becky loved the Detroit Tigers and watched every game.  She was also very crafty and loved to make baskets and scarves to sell at craft shows.  She also took a cake decorating class and used to bake and decorate cakes and sell them to family and friends. She loved doing crafts with the triplets, whether it was baking or making Halloween and Christmas decorations.  She was very creative and won many Halloween costume contests at CRI where she worked.  Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved shopping.  She and her friend Mike had a competition every year to see who could get Christmas cards out first.  So Becky sent his card out in July.

Becky will be remembered mostly for her big heart, beautiful smile and contagious laugh.  She also loved animals so much that she donated to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals for many, many years.  She always had 2-3 dogs or cats in her home along with a hamster, rabbit, and fish.  But her favorite dog was Bosco whom she had for 10 years and whose spirit will remain with her for eternity.  She had the best laugh, loved to joke around, could start up a conversation with anybody, and made friends wherever she went.  She was loved and will be truly missed by many.

Memorial contributions are appreciated to Diabetes Association.
