Family Tribute

Heaven gets even brighter today as it welcomes Mary Jane Riney to its doors.

Jane to friends, and mom, grandma and great grandma to her loving family, lived a life of giving and gratefulness.

This full time working mom of five was tireless in her early years of married life with determination to balance the needs of a career and being a loving wife and mother. That balancing skill continued into her retirement life when in addition to being a loving and engaged wife, mom and grandma, she volunteered countless hours to help patients as a member of the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Auxiliary.

Her consummate zest for life allowed her to enjoy life including everything from tubing behind a ski boat for her 75th birthday to dancing an Irish Jig at a St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the age of 91. Most importantly, her zest provided immeasurable joy to all that had the pleasure to know her and spend time with her.

She loved deeply, was deeply loved and lived a life of purpose.
