I am sending love to you all. I am so sorry I am not able to be there to celebrate the life of my dear friend. Nicky came into my life when my best friend was killed and she quickly filled that void. She had a way of making you feel very comfortable with her. She was the most generous, kind, fun, funny, caring person I know! She would put others first and her last if you were in need. She would be the first to say, "what can I do?" We had more good times then I could mention in this note. Moving away to Florida was hard especially for my kids. Nicky was there when they both were born and there for them throughout their lives. Thankfully she made it a point to visit Florida often and would include me in the plans one way or another. She would always invite the kids also stating, "There's always the couch or a blow up mattress" She was "Aunt Nicky" to the kids. One trip here her and I went and got tattoos and they covered them with a film type dressing. Nicky said "How long do you think it will take Ginny to notice?" We kinda placed a bet, she won, I lost. I think Ginny noticed within the first few minutes of us returning to the condo. The one thing I can say about her is she loved her family and friends whole heartedly. That also goes for her fur babies past and present. And there's Jim! What a love story! I remember her calling me and telling me about their first meet up since the years prior. She was beaming, even over the phone I could tell! It is just so unfair they didn't have longer. So my dear Nicky rest in peace, God has definitely gained a beautiful angel and we will carry on with a hole in our heart until we meet again. Love you!
