Dear Adam, Dan, Matt and Elizabeth, My deepest sympathy to you all. Your Mom and I were high school friends having met in Junior year. I was the Maid of Honor at her wedding. She was a good, solid person, with a kind heart and so smart. It was your Mom that got me through science class at Oakland Community College. And boy, she knew the insurance business like nobody else. We had lots of fun adventures in the seventies, hanging out with the Berkley friends, Senior overnight trip that involved some memorable mischief. One weekend we jumped in her red mustang (yes, she was cool) to visit the Hamilton cousins. She was the responsible one of the two of us and kept me out of trouble that weekend. :) On the way home the car broke down in Windsor and Grandma Shirley came with a tow chain to tow us home (what a capable woman that Shirley was, and made the BEST fry donuts). Of course, cute chicks that we were, some cute guys kept us company until Shirley came (hey, we were 18). I tell these stories because I was a part of Ann's life before we had families. We had so much fun but the absolute best part of life is family. You four kids meant the world to her and all of the grands too. She reminded me so much of her Mom, always upbeat and a smile on her face when it came to talking about her kids and grandkids. You all were her world and she was so proud of all of you. I know what a hard time this is for you. I will keep you all in prayer and please know her spirit will continue to hover over you all and you will feel her love. We want Ann's family to know they are in our thoughts and prayers. I spent lots of time with my cousin Ann when we were younger. Ann and I were born in the same year. We shared a special bond due to the fact our fathers were twin brothers. There were visits over the years that I always enjoyed. Aunt Shirley didn't seem to mind having one more child to look after when I was there. I know Ann is finally at peace. George and I are sorry we're not going to be there to say goodbye. Lots of love to all the family in Michigan.

I'm thinking of Aunt Ann and all of my cousins at this time. Some of my favourite memories of my childhood were going to Aunt Ann's house in Pinckney and playing with Adam, Dan and Matt...Elizabeth was a baby back then. I remember their farm so well and Aunt Ann just being the nicest person ever. I know I'm far away and don't get to see any of you in person, but you're in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I'm sorry I cannot be there, but I will be in spirit. Love to you all! Cousin Carey in England.

Our Detroit cousins were always special as our father were twins. We had many visits back and forth from Detroit to Hamilton. On one trip to visit with Aunt Shirley when she was with Anne, I had a broken wrist but drove down anyway the pathway as I remember had a electric fence which I found out was live. We did have a great visit as usual. Sorry I am unable to be there miss you all Ted
