Obituary of Sherri Muzher
Sherri Muzher. Age 48. Formerly of Southgate and East Lansing/Mason.
Sherri was a journalist, scholar, and activist who dedicated her life to giving a voice to the voiceless.
A 1991 graduate in journalism at Michigan State University and a 1999 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law, Sherri worked for the State of Michigan in the area of communications. Sherri was published in a number of publications, including USA Today, The Washington Times, The Detroit Free Press, and so many others with topics ranging from the Middle East to domestic violence.
Sherri is survived by her mother, Afaf and two brothers, Sol and Sam. Preceded in death by her father, Michael.
Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
